Alice in Wonderland

So an MUA friend of mine, Sarah-Jane, contacted me about wanting to do some make up looks inspired by Alice in Wonderland. I happily created some sets and shot the beautiful models (Amy Morris, Adrienne Henley, Kristina Djiga, Kristina Comuzzi and Aidi Sun) with the amazing help of my best friend and assistant for the day Mal Ryan! The ladies were outfitted in Joanne David Accessories and Turbine/Alison Seary clothing with hair by Ryan Dominey and of course, make up by Sarah-Jane with assistance from Samantha Hoskins.

Here's what I've quickly edited so far because I couldn't wait any longer to publish some....

Sad brain

Lately, I've had too much inspiration that I'm finding hard to channel.. I'm finally starting to break out of it and soon my ideas will come to fruition. I'll have a bunch of new stuff up in the weeks to come.
In the meantime, check out some of the photos from a set I did with Olivia directly after getting a concussion from smacking my head on a boom! Surprisingly, the shoot still went pretty well..

New work

I've been kinda lazy over the holidays but Mal and I wanted to get back in the swing of things. With the help of Guylaine Richer De Lafleche's amazing make up artistry we hopped in the studio to shoot each other. Here's what I came up with!

Boyfriend

Here are some shots I did of my boyfriend with his bass about a month ago! Check out his band, In This Style (free album at inthisstyle.ca!).

The Last Supper

I collaborated with my brother (a designer working in Stockholm) on a wedding project in the summer. I got hired to shoot a friend's wedding and we re-did The Last Supper at the bridal party table! Check it out :)

Recent work!

Here are some images I've been making in the past few weeks!

The first one is my painting with light assignment. Shot with a DSLR and lit with a flashlight! The second is my transparent object assignment and it was shot with a 4x5 large format with a digital Phase One back. The third was also shot with the 4x5 and it's for a Bridgestone contest!
Lots of product lately. I like it but I'm excited to have Christmas break to do some more creative work with PEOPLE in it.

Just met Mother Mother and saw them in concert last week! Check out their latest album "O My Heart" and their first "Touch Up" - amazing writers and musicians and lovely humans too :)
